Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 19, 2026
This policy describes how ETNA operates the ScapeRevive mobile application and related services. It aligns with our in-app and store listings (App Store / Google Play).
1. Data controller and contact
The ScapeRevive application ("App") is operated by ETNA (or the entity named in the App Store / Google Play listing). For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, we are the data controller responsible for your personal data. The App is built from the Lakeview Interlock codebase (repository code_lakeview_interlock). Our Firebase / Google Cloud backend project identifier is etna.

2. What data we collect
We collect and process the following categories of data in connection with the App:
- Account and identity: email address, display name, and sign-in method (e.g. Google, Apple, or email/password). If you use "Continue as Guest," we create an anonymous account linked to your device.
- Usage and product data: generation history (e.g. prompts, styles, requests), credit balances (subscription credits and purchased credits), subscription status and plan, purchase history (processed by Apple/Google/RevenueCat), and in-app actions (e.g. screen views, feature use). This is used to provide the service, manage credits and subscriptions, and improve the App.
- Device and technical data: device type, operating system, Firebase Installation ID, and similar technical identifiers. We use these for authentication, credit allocation (e.g. one-time welcome credits per device), and security.
- Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics (and similar tools) to understand how the App is used (e.g. which screens are viewed, which features are used). This does not include your name or email unless tied to your account for service purposes.
- Push notifications (if enabled): We may store a push notification token (e.g. FCM) to send you notifications about completed generations or account-related messages.
- Handy AI conversational data: When you use the Handy AI assistant feature, we collect your messages and the AI's responses, along with session metadata (e.g. timestamp, session identifier, and the surface or style context active at the time of the conversation). This data is transmitted to Google's Gemini API to generate AI responses and is used by us to operate the feature, detect abuse, and improve the overall quality of the App. Conversation data is not used for targeted advertising and is not sold.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We use your data to:
- Provide and operate the App (e.g. account management, credit allocation and tracking across subscription and purchased credit pools, subscriptions, image and video generation).
- Process payments and manage subscriptions and credit pack purchases (via Apple, Google, and/or RevenueCat, and where applicable Stripe for web). This includes verifying purchase events via server-side webhooks to assign credits to your account.
- Store and display your projects and generation history.
- Send you service-related or transactional messages (e.g. completion of a generation), and, if you consent, marketing (where offered).
- Improve the App, fix errors, and analyze usage (analytics).
- Operate Handy AI: deliver personalized design suggestions, material guidance, and project support through the in-app AI assistant. Your messages are processed by Google's Gemini API to generate responses tailored to your project context.
- Improve Handy AI and overall App quality: we may review anonymized, aggregated conversation data to identify common issues, improve response accuracy, and enhance the user experience. We do not use individual conversation content for third-party advertising.
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security threats, including monitoring for misuse of the Handy AI feature (e.g. prompt injection or policy violations).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Legal basis: We process your data on the basis of (i) performance of our contract with you (service delivery, payments, account and credit management, Handy AI responses), (ii) our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, analytics, improvement of the App and AI features), and (iii) where required by law, your consent (e.g. for optional marketing or non-essential cookies).
4. How long we keep your data
We retain your data for as long as your account exists and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax, disputes), and enforce our terms. If you delete your account (see section 7), we will delete or anonymize your account and associated data in line with our retention policy, except where we must keep data for legal reasons.
5. Sharing and third parties
We share data only as necessary with the following:
- Google (Firebase): Authentication, database (Realtime Database, Firestore), file storage (Cloud Storage), and analytics, under Firebase project etna. Their privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Google AI (Gemini API): Powers the Handy AI assistant feature. When you send a message to Handy AI, your message text and relevant session context (e.g. active surface or style) are transmitted to Google's Gemini API to generate a response. Google may process this data in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy. We recommend reviewing Google's AI policies at https://ai.google.dev/terms and https://policies.google.com/privacy. We do not share your name, email, or payment details with the Gemini API.
- Fal.ai: Image and video generation (e.g. prompts and images you submit). Their processing is necessary to provide the AI features. We do not control their separate policies; we recommend reviewing their privacy information.
- RevenueCat: Subscription and entitlement management, including purchase verification, renewal tracking, and credit allocation via server-side webhooks. RevenueCat processes your subscription status and purchase events. Their privacy policy applies: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple and Google: When you subscribe or make in-app purchases, the applicable store (App Store, Google Play) processes payment and may receive account/transaction data per their policies. Purchase confirmation events are relayed to our servers (via RevenueCat) to assign credits to your account.
- Stripe (if used): For web or other non-store payments, Stripe processes payment data in accordance with their privacy policy.
- Legal and safety: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect our or others' rights, safety, or property.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for their marketing.
5a. Handy AI and conversational data
Handy AI is an in-app AI assistant powered by Google's Gemini API. This section explains in more detail how conversational data is handled.
What is sent to Google Gemini: When you interact with Handy AI, your typed messages and relevant in-app context (e.g. the surface type or design style you are working with) are sent to Google's Gemini API over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No photos from your camera roll, payment data, or full account profile are sent unless you explicitly include them in your message.
How we store conversation data: Conversations may be stored in our Firebase backend (Firestore) linked to your account so you can review past exchanges within the App. We retain conversation history for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your conversation data by contacting us at omerorsel38@gmail.com or by deleting your account.
How we use conversation data: We use conversation data to (i) display your Handy AI history within the App, (ii) detect and prevent abuse or policy violations (e.g. prompt injection, generation of harmful content), and (iii) improve the App and the quality of AI responses using anonymized and aggregated insights. We do not use individual conversation content for advertising or share it with third parties other than Google (Gemini API) as described above.
Google's own data practices: Google processes data sent to the Gemini API under its own terms of service and privacy policy. We encourage you to review those at https://ai.google.dev/terms. Depending on your region and the API configuration we use, Google may apply its own content safety filters and logging policies.
Opting out: The Handy AI feature is optional. If you prefer not to have your messages processed by the Gemini API, simply do not use the Handy AI assistant within the App. All other App features remain available without using Handy AI.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data (including via account deletion in the App).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability (e.g. a copy of your data in a portable format where technically feasible).
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.
To exercise these rights, contact us at omerorsel38@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
7. Account deletion
You may permanently delete your account from within the App (Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account). This will:
- Remove your account and associated data from our systems (e.g. Firebase Auth, Realtime Database, Firestore, Storage), subject to technical and legal retention needs.
- Not delete device-level identifiers used for anti-abuse or welcome-credit logic (e.g. one-time credits per device). Those remain to operate the service.
After deletion, we will not use your deleted account data for service or marketing purposes except where we must retain it for legal or safety reasons.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls (e.g. Firebase security rules). No system is completely secure; we will notify you and regulators where required if a breach affects your personal data.
9. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at omerorsel38@gmail.com and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence (e.g. United States, where our service providers operate). We ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses or equivalent) where required by law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and/or on our website and will indicate the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will use reasonable means to inform you (e.g. in-app notice or email). Continued use of the App after the effective date of the new policy constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
